Kim - Founder
Hey, everyone! My name is Kim and I’ve been in the childcare field for 11 years- with licencing in Early Childhood Education, Infant Toddler and Special Needs. Prior to opening Monkey Ville Childcare in 2010, I worked at various daycare centers and as a support worker and I love working with children of all ages. On top of my childcare credentials, I’ve also trained others in this faculty at local colleges working as a practicum supervisor.
When I was growing up, my parents told me to choose a field to work in that I felt passionate about and that wouldn’t make me dread Mondays. Coming to work and having the children excited to come see us is that exact thing they were talking about.
Everyday I’m given the opportunity to create everlasting memories with the children and that’s my passion. The children aside, I’m lucky enough to also build trusting relationships with every single one of the parents who adore Monkey Ville’s welcoming environment. My goal is to always have Monkey Ville as a second home for children where they can love, play and grow and do much more.

Khurshid Ashraf
Hello, my name is Khurshid Ashraf and I have been in the childcare field for 5 years and I hold a Child Development Assistance Certificate. I first became a part of the childcare industry when I became a day home provider under Thornhill Child Care Society. I have experience in working with children from 18 months to 12 years in the day home setting.
I have always been passionate about children, as I have always wanted to make a difference in each child’s life and that has inspired me to become a childcare provider. The first few years of a child are precious years where parents and childcare providers witness the most growth and change and I have always wanted to make a positive impact on every child during these years.
As a proud mom of three beautiful kids, I know what parents look for regarding childcare services and I have always strived to make childcare services better for each family that has been in my care.
I look forward to providing quality, well-structured care to each child that becomes a part of Monkey Ville family!
